I'm really just a person who has a passion for education and wants to continue to serve the community. I'm linking articles and a recording from this election season so you can get to know me a little better. I think you'll notice I'm not in this for political positioning. I'm certainly no polished politician. I don't speak rhetoric, I just like to put my nose down and do the work. The only "endorsements" I've sought are those of my family, friends, and people who really know me. Now I'm asking for a show of trust in me with your vote. That would be the greatest endorsement of all.

HUHS Surveyed Students, Staff, and Parents

The voices of HUHS matter. School Perceptions was brought in to conduct a survey in January through February to provide feedback to the Board and administration to help guide decisions and directions.

YOUR COMMENTS AND FEEDBACK MATTER TO ME! I am currently reading through all of the staff comments and will get to parents and students next. There are close to a thousand total comments in all three groups combined. I see you. I hear you. Thank you for taking the time to fill out the survey and provide feedback. It will not go unnoticed.

Board Committees

Tracy proposed Board Committees so that Board members could be more engaged in and knowledgeable about the work of the district and related policies. The Board approved and formed committees for: 1) Finance, Facilities, and Operations; 2) Community and Legislative Engagement; 3) Personnel and Organizational Management; and 4) Curriculum, Teaching, and Learning. Tracy is on three of the committees and is the Chair of two of them.

Communication

Since the Fall of 2021, Tracy has been voicing concerns about the District's communication. While the HUHS Superintendent, Principal, and staff have been working on this in numerous ways, the voice of the Board has not been as apparent as it should be. Current work is underway to include Board voice. Please watch for updates to the HUHS website and contact me if you have any questions you'd like answered by the current HUHS Board President.
